Clients often approach Kenroi Consulting wanting to change their business model, in order to attract business within more diverse communities.


In this project, we really helped our client increase their capabilities grow and evolve by increasing diversity and using creative methods of attracting, and then engaging with diverse communities and marketing products and services.


The clients were enthused by our strategy to increase growth whilst supporting their teams around diversity.


It involved developing their strategy to engage with a range of communities to promote their business and services. We were able to help them build relationships with several external agencies.


By building partnerships, they were able to able not only recruit from a more varied talent pool, but increase marketing to diverse customers.


The result of our intervention is that the company devised a completely new strategy and now engages a business appropriate way of effectively engaging with new target markets.  


They are applying the model to other target markets, as they continually engage with more diverse customer bases.

By employing various techniques of securing diverse talent,  the client learned that generic marketing and recruitment strategies are not the best way to secure business engagement from diverse cultures!

Cultural Marketing Strategy

Turning a New Page

We were tasked to develop a marketing strategy for a small chain of UK beauty salons that wanted to develop services to the Black community.  The chain wanted to attract customers and were seeking ways in which they could generate interest and market to this community.


The UK Black hair care industry is valued at around £8.8 billion annually in the UK.


The business owners were keen to tap into this market and wanted a strategy through which they could engage with the community.  


Further, they wanted to develop services that could be specifically marketed to the Black community which would be appropriate to their beauty and hair care requirements.


We approached this task carefully, as it was our very first project of this scale. We studied our client’s business and then designed a tailor made solution.  We worked with them and supported them through the process as their business flourished!

We assisted them with auditing the business to assess their current position and then devised a diversity marketing strategy, as well as other solutions which ensured there was a defined process to follow on their journey.  


We created a specific value proposition for them and undertook a programme of development to enable them to engage with their target market and provide the services which were specific to their exact requirements.


This, for us, was an important project to succeed at, because you never get a second shot at making a first impression.

A Tale of Success

Clients approach Kenroi Consulting Ltd seeking to adapt their business model, in order to become more effective with varying target markets. Our services cater to clients interested in modifying their organisations but are unsure how to go about it, or lack the necessary expertise. 


Our client is a small independent retail outlet, selling sports apparel.  They wanted to develop their marketing to attract young people when they diversified their stock.


In this project, we really helped our client's capabilities grow and evolve. We helped them to target their marketing approach by developing a campaign which would attract their target clientele.  


This included devising a strategy which included recruiting new staff, the use of social media and other components which enabled them to compete more effectively with with larger, branded stores.


Today, their business has engaged well with their target customers and is now planning to sponsor local events in order to further engage and further build relationships.
